Courtney and Sherry Ewles will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on July 6, 2022. The couple was married July 6, 1962 in Richfield, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti Temple June 6, 1964. The couple has two children, Kirtley and Kasey.
Courtney was a successful businessman in Salina. After time spent in the Air Force, he established Ewles Electric which he ran for 35 years. Courtney and Sherry, in partnership with his brother Joh, built and operated one of Salina’s finest hotels, the Best Western Branding Iron and Restaurant. It ran under their care for many years.
Courtney and Sherry celebrated other notable anniversaries in Alaska, Hawaii, and Jackson Hole, Wyoming, but this year will be spent celebrating at home in Salina.
