The North Sevier volleyball team carried both a significant win and loss last week. On Tuesday, September 9th, the Wolves traveled to North Summit to match up against the Braves. The Wolves played tough, but the Braves proved tougher. In the first set, North Summit won 25-14. They kept up their game in the second set winning 25-11. The Wolves came in close in the last set, but their efforts came up short. The Braves ended the game in the third set, landing the score of 25-21. These sets added up to a final score of 0-3 for North Sevier.
On Thursday, September 11th, North Sevier faced off with the Bulldogs at Gunnison High. The Wolves played and won two close sets, the first ending in 25-22 and the second in 25-20. Before the third set was put into play, the North Sevier girls were ready to go home, so they ended the match in the next set. The third set was won by the Wolves at 25-08. In the end, North Sevier won with a score of 3-0.
This week, the North Sevier volleyball team (7-8) will play at Duchesne on Tuesday, September 16th. Then on Thursday, September 18th, South Summit will come down to North Sevier for an NS home game. All home games will be held at the North Sevier Middle School.
