The North Sevier Cross Country Team shot off into their season this week with two meets. On Wednesday, August 26th the team traveled up to Duchesne at Starvation Reservoir for their first race. The top three fastest times for the Boys 5000 meters on the team are: Ledger Hallows in 3rd with a time of 17:51; Kale Hallows in 16th at 19:19.2; and Kesler Wanlass in 17th at 19:19.5. In the Girls’ Race, Hannah Johnson finished 6th at 22:46; Linzy Perfect in 12th at 23:33; and Taylanee Aitken in 47th at 27:57.
The following race was on Saturday morning at the UHSAA Invitational in Spanish Fork. The top 3 finishers in the Boys’ Varsity were: Ledgers Hallows in 11th place at a time of 16:34; Lincoln Hallows at 16:57; and Kale Hallows at 18:08. In the Girls’ Varsity were: Khloe Rosquist in 47th at a time of 21:12; Hannah Johnson at 22:32; and Linzy Perfect at 22:36
The North Sevier Cross Country Runners will travel up to race at Timpanogos on Friday, September 4th this week.
