Ron Bosshardt


Ronald LaMar (Ron) Bosshardt was born April 20, 1941 in Salina, Utah to LaMar and Sonoma Bosshardt. He has two sisters, one living in Murray, Utah and the other sister Lives in Santa Clara, Utah. Ronnie married his childhood sweetheart, Ellen D. Mickelsen on September 23, 1961.
They have five children: Leann (Brian) Sharp, Deran (Cheryl) Bosshardt, Brendon (Mindy) Bosshardt, Kyle (Kim) Bosshardt, and Traci (Jason) Nielsen. They have 17 Grandchildren and 11 Great- Grandchildren.
Ronnie enjoys outdoor activities, such as camping, 4 wheeling, searching for new trails, and exploring different areas. He enjoys spending time gardening, he loves flowers and plants. He also loves his show cars. And he really enjoys spending time with his family and friends, and sharing his good nature, humor, and adventurous spirit.
Ronnie has contributed many hours of service to the church and community. He served many years in the BSA and received the Silver Beaver Award, one of the top awards for leaders. He also served as the 1st Bishop of the Redmond 2nd Ward after the Redmond Ward was divided. He also served as a Redmond Town Councilman and has devoted many hours to the beautification and improvement of the community.
