Pierce

Bill and Loretta Pierce were married May 3, 1974 in the Manti, Utah temple and recently celebrated their golden anniversary gathered around their posterity. They have been members of the Redmond community for 25 years with Bill retiring firstly from 20 years of police work as a San Juan County Deputy, and Salina City Chief in 2002, and secondly retiring from 10 years as a mental health specialist at Rural Child Development in 2019. Bill continues to volunteer his time and talents to local programs.  Loretta has served as Sentinel Angel and homemaker of the ebb and flow of the Pierce family, children, and grandchildren, as well as her twenty-year service at the family history center. Their love and devotion to faith, family, and community continues to grow a lasting legacy. The couple have six children: Kimberly LaRue of Colorado, and Christopher Pierce, Jacob Pierce, Lee Pierce, Alisha Peterson, and Mark Pierce of Utah, as well as their six children in laws and 19 grandchildren who celebrated the couple’s golden anniversary at a quiet gathering in their honor.
