Parker

Joe and Jolene Parker will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on July 1, 2022.  Joe and Jolene met in Richfield in 1971 and were married July 1, 1972 in Sterling, Utah.  They couple lived in Richfield for five years and then moved to Salina where they have resided since. 

Joe grew up in Yakima, Washington then moved to Utah to work at USG for his uncle when he was 18.  He later became General Foreman working 45 plus years of service for USG before retirement. 

Jolene grew up in Sterling, Utah, then moved to Richfield, Utah where she attended Sevier Valley Tech.  She has held several management and accounting-type positions and then fulfilled her dream when they became owners of Salina Floral and Gifts.  She is also now enjoying retirement.

The couple has three children: Jody Parker, Misty (Jared) Otten, and Justin (Jennifer) Parker.  They have eight grandchildren Jarica, Trevor, Jaylie, Braydan, Whitlee, Sydni, and Brynlee (and their spouses) and two great-grandchildren, Ridge and Leni.

Joe and Jolene take great pride in their family and love spending time with them.  They are enjoying retirement by spending their time camping, crafting, tractor work, gardening, and attending their grandchildren’s events.  They look forward to watching their family grow and spending many more years together.
