Porter Okerlund and Kiersten Atwood have chosen to be married August 6, 2022 in the Payson, Utah Temple. A reception will be held in their honor that afternoon from 2:30-4:30 p.m. at the Maplewood Events Center, 1068 Expressway Lane, Spanish Fork Utah.
The bride to be is a daughter of Alan and Tawny Atwood, Lindon, Utah. She graduated from Timpanogos High School where she was actively involved in club and high school soccer, FFA, and ran track. She served an LDS mission in the Florida, Fort Lauderdale Spanish Speaking Mission. She is currently attending Southern Utah University and will graduate next summer with her Bachelor’s in Nursing Degree.
Mr. Okerlund is the son of Jason and Mary Okerlund, Aurora, grandson of Bob and Susan Bagley, Aurora, and Jolayne and the late Don Okerlund, Salina. He is a 2017 graduate of North Sevier High School where he was active in football, wrestling, and student government. He served in the Tennessee Knoxville Mission and is now attending Southern Utah University where he will earn his bachelor’s degree in Management this coming spring.
