On Veteran’s Day, North Sevier Middle School students and staff celebrated local veterans. By creating a drive through the NSMS parking lot, veterans were able to see all the students and posters that they created the day prior to the celebration. At the end of the drive, all the veterans that came received a donut in honor of their service. The students and faculty at the middle school happily welcomed more than twenty veterans throughout the duration of the drive through.
The new student body officers were in charge of arranging the event. Their tasks included calling Kim Robinson and asking about getting the Robinson’s big American Flag at the middle school for the Veteran’s Day activity, ordering donuts from Barretts, going to the elementary school and handing out posters, making posters for the teachers at NSMS, and making enter and exit signs.
