Lions Club Service Project

The Salina Lions Club donates food baskets to homebound senior citizens in the North Sevier area twice each year, once in the spring and once in the fall.  Bread, canned items, and other necessities were donated by members of the club, then the baskets were prepared last week by the Lions, assisted by residents of the RISE program in Richfield.  Drops offs are coordinated with the senior center.

“This time our local Lions have been especially generous with both their time and their food donations,” said Chamber President Carol Lowman. “I appreciate each of them and am in awe of their consistent desire to be of service to this community.  I’m proud to be a Lion and to associate with these good people.”
