Jerald and Sandra Nielson celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary on June 10, 2022. Jerald and Sandra were both raised in Sevier County. Jerald in Richfield and Sandra in Redmond. They didn’t meet until they both were living and working in Salt Lake City. The couple have five children Angie (John) Bogh, Kristy (Cory) Peip, JerriLynn (Mark) Hansen, Waylon (Wendy), and Kandice (A.J.) Carter. They are fortunate to have nineteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Jerald worked at Gans Ink Co. in Salt Lake City, then when they moved to Redmond he started working at Labrum Ford. After many different construction and mining jobs he became a driver for Robinson Transport. He retired from Robinson’s in 2014. Sandra was working in the genealogy department for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints when they met. She is remembered by many as the owner of Care A Lot Day Care in Salina and Gunnison. They have resided in Redmond since 1973. The couple hosted a family party at the Redmond Town Park on Saturday June 11, 2022.
