William Russell and EvaLynn Huntsman Holt will be celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary and their children, Cameron (Brenda), Evyann Rushel (Bryan), Laith (Kari), Jessica (Jered), Erica (Daniel) and Kurlayna invite you to an open house in their honor. They were married on the 18th of December 1971, and the open house will be on that anniversary (18th of Dec) from 3-5 p.m. at the Salina Creek Ward Building located at 87 South 100 East in Salina, Utah. All are invited to join the celebration.
The Holts have made Salina their home, living there for 42 of the 50 years. They left for 1 ½ years when Russell served as a Utah Highway Patrolman in Wendover and SLC; for 5 years when he served as the Assistant Manager for Utah’s Dept of Meat and Poultry Inspection in SLC; and for 1 ½ years when they served a full-time MLS Mission for the Church in Dallas Texas. Other than those times they have lived and raised their family in Salina where Russell worked with his father as a meat cutter and butcher and later as a USDA trained meat inspector. EvaLynn worked at the High School for 16 years, where her greatest emphasis was on the Drama program and being with her kids and their friends.
They have been active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints serving in various positions and currently He, as Bishop of the Salina Creek Ward and she, as Stake Temple and Family History Consultant Trainer.
They are the parents of the above 6 children and 15 grandchildren; Madysen (Ian) Tomlin; Elder William Tanner Holt, New Mexico, Albuquerque Mission; Andrew Holt; MaKele, Jack, Aiden & Taylee Neuberger; Emma and Ellizabeth Stinson; Tristan, Evander, Azaleah & Dreydan Holt; and Clay & Jerica Rasmussen.
