Susan Ann Strobel “Suzie” Armstrong Anderson passed away June 14, 2024 in Richfield. She was born to Henry Louis Strobel Jr. “Dute” and Francis Ann Preslar Strobel.
Dute was stationed in the Army Air Force in Ft. Poke, Louisiana. He met and married Ann, and 11 months later Suzie was born on November 29, 1945 in Shreveport. She was married to Alan Armstrong and had three children: Denise (Scott) Morris, Stephane (David) Banda and Scott Armstong. Later married Eric Anderson and had Jason (Adrianna Harkins) Anderson.
As a child she was fearless, loved the outdoors, horses, loved books (always had one with her), she could do anything she put her mind to, she worked on her Datson, putting in water pumps and tuning the carburetor. She was onery, and a practical jokester, a very hard worker all her life. She loved gardening and life itself. She had a love of home and family and loved to play
with her children. She loved her best friend, Eric. She will be missed by many.
She is survived by her children; grandchildren; sisters: Sylvia Jane Stolfus and Judy Lynn Boydstun. Preceded in death by her parents and husbands: Alan Armstrong and Eric Anderson.
