Sixth at State

North Sevier Lady Wolves volleyball team went into the state tournament on a tough side of the bracket and met up with North Summit their first game and lost but came out of the loss and played Millard.  Though they got down the first two sets, they came back won the next three!

“It was such a fun game! The girls played so scrappy and gave it their all!” said Coach Sloane Robinson.

Saturday morning North Sevier then played Rolland Hall and beat them in three, which put them against Enterprise for 6th and 8th place.

The Lady Wolves battled hard in back-and-forth matches, and Enterprise took the first 25-19, then North Sevier beat them 33-31 in the second set, lost in the third 21-25 but won the final two 25-21 and 15-10.

“It was such a fun experience for the girls and to finish top 6 is such an accomplishment for them!” said Robinson. “I’m excited because we have such a young team, and this gave them a taste of how exciting the state tournament is and I’m hoping this has them ready to want to continue to do better! We sure will miss Gracee. She is a great team leader and hard worker! But she ended her season on a high!”
