Rho Kappa club members participated in a service opportunity Thursday, May 5, 2022 with several hours spent doing yard work at Miss Mary’s Museum in Salina.
“Community service is an important hallmark of great citizenship. Our students are learning that lesson at Miss Mary’s. Also, every community needs a place to go to hold onto its history. Miss Mary’s is the place. It is that link that helps this community remember its roots and know where to go next,” said Rho Kappa Advisor Rodney Hurd.
The Miss Mary’s Museum board thanked the club members for their work and sincerely appreciate the time spent sprucing up the grounds in time for the busy summer visitor season.
