The Salina Lion’s Club has hosted their annual Peace Poster contest and announced the winners with Ellee Johnson, daughter of Ginger and Jared Johnson placing first. She is a seventh grader from Aurora and enjoys riding horses. She received a check from the Lions for $75.
In second place was Abby Christensen, daughter of Allyson and Jeremy Christensen, a seventh-grade dancer who lives in Salina. She was awarded $50. Sixth grader Bridger Lyon placed third. He is the son of Jessica and Chris Lyon, Redmond and enjoys riding bikes. He received a $25 award.
Receiving honorable mention was Teagan Ence, son of Amy and Braden Ence, Aurora. He is a seventh grader who enjoys hunting. Eighth grader Tyla Mickelsen, Redmond, was also awarded honorable mention. She is the daughter of Hagan and Tresha Brian who enjoys being happy. They were both awarded $25 from the Lions Club.
