SECOND PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
Salina City will hold a public hearing to discuss the project determined to be applied for in the CDBG Small Cities Program in Program Year 2025. Salina City is seeking to construct a second phase of the new City Park, which is located at 329 W 400 N. Salina City, UT 84654.
This project will include 3 shaded benches, 2 additional pickleball courts, 1 digital sign, lighting around the pickleball courts, 20 picnic tables, 6 sets of bleachers.
Comments will be solicited on project scope, implementation, and its effects on residents. The hearing will begin at 6:30 P.M. On May 14, 2025, and will be held at 90 West Main Salina UT. 84654. Further information can be obtained by contactingAshlee Larsenat (435) 529-7304.

PUBLIC NOTICE OF SALINA MUNICIPAL
ELECTION 2025
Public notice is hereby given that Salina City residents will be electing for the office of Mayor and 2 Councilmember seats to serve four-year terms at the municipal general election.
Candidate Filing period begins Monday, June 2, 2025, and runs through Friday, June 6, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. Declaration of Candidacy Forms or Nomination Petition must be filed in person with the City Recorder at 90 West Main, Salina, Utah between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Candidate filling deadline is Monday, June 6, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. There is no filing fee.
Dates for 2025 elections are: Primary (if needed) June 27, 2025, 5:00 p.m. General September 5, 2025, 5:00 p.m.
Qualifications for A Candidate Are: (UCA 10-3-301; 20A-9-203)
- Be a United States Citizen
- Be registered voter of the municipality,
- Be a resident of the municipality for a period of 12 consecutive months
Immediately before the date of the election
