Brek Christiansen and Macie Bosshardt represented North Sevier High School, Salina City and their respective CTSOs (Career and Technical Student Organizations) as they attended CTSO day on the hill at our State Capitol. Brek is a state officer for FCCLA and Macie is a state officer for Educators Rising. “They have had the opportunity to represent their CTSOs and our community from Washington DC to Seattle to our own State Capitol. These young ladies are prepared, poised, respectful and responsible. They have been ready to compete, explain their purposes and express knowledgeable opinions on important issues as they have attended conferences and had opportunities to mingle with our legislators,” said advisor Coylene Brinkerhoff.
She said CTSO day on the hill helped legislators recognize what CTSOs do for our youth and give them (our legislators) an opportunity to continue to support the importance of CTE and the CTSOs that build and strengthen our youth.
