On January 14, 2023 Stratton Hallows and Alyssa Okerlund competed at the Elks Lodge District Hoop Shoot Competition in Cedar City, Utah.
Hallows won in the boys 10-11 year old category, shooting 22 out of 25 free throws. He was also honored as the boys’ top shooter.
Okerlund won in the girls 10-11 year old division, shooting 17 out of 25 free throws.
They both go on to compete at the state level January 28, 2023 in Provo.
Stratton is the son of Jared and Dani Hallows, Salina, and Alyssa is the daughter of Justin and Tammy Okerlund, Salina.
