I am honored to have served on the Sevier School Board for the past 4 years. When I was made aware that Jill Porter, former North Sevier High School, Middle School and Ashman Elementary Principal desired to serve on the board representing the North Sevier area, I respectably withdrew my re-election. Jill has taught and coached my children, and after served in administration in my children and grandchildren schools. I fully support her in this endeavor and feel that the full board along with administration, students and teachers will benefit from her leadership and 30 years of experience in education.
I appreciate all that voted and then supported me these past four years. I have learned, advocated and worked towards student success, student safety, teacher’s support and administrative policies and personnel. I have the greatest regard for the Sevier School Administration, Board, Teachers, Students and staff. I feel very fortunate to have had this experience.
