Interim Meetings: I enjoyed meeting with my fellow legislators during August’s Interim meetings. These meetings are an opportunity for us to hear presentations from experts and stakeholders, as well as public comment, all of which helps us prepare for the upcoming legislative session. Never Forget
As we approach the 22nd anniversary of one of the darkest days in our country’s history, we honor the 2,977 people who lost their lives during the horrifying attacks on September 11, 2001, as well as those who risked their lives to save others. We will never forget their sacrifice!
Labor Day
I hope you all had a fun, safe, and enjoyable holiday weekend! I am proud to live in a state that is known for its industrious spirit. The hardworking people of Utah are a big part of what makes our state the best place to live, work, and play.
Back to School
To all the students across the state who are headed back for the start of the new school year, I wish you luck in all your academic endeavors! Education is the key to unlocking a brighter future and remains a top priority for myself and the legislature.
