Public notice is hereby given that the Salina City Planning & Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing October 19, 2023, at 6:50 p.m. in the Salina City Council Chambers located at 90 West Main for the purpose of accepting comments on proposed Ordinance 170-2023 an Ordinance creating a separate section for extended stays. A land use Ordinance for Salina City, and establishing subpoena and inspection requirements, it will be known as the extended stay ordinance. The proposed Ordinance170 – 2023 is available for review at the Salina City Office.

In accordance with Utah State Code 10-9a-204, Salina hereby gives notice of a public hearing to modify and possibly recommend adoption of the proposed Salina City General Plan. The draft plan addresses long-range planning for the entire community. The proposed amendments include comprehensive updates to existing city plans and policy for growth and development within, and around, Salina. The plan considers land use, housing, transportation, and capital investment issues within the political boundaries and proposed annexation areas of Salina City.
