Salina City is accepting applications for a full time Maintenance supervisor.
Skills required:
Graduation from high school or GED;
AND
minimum 2 years’ experience in this field is required.
skilled in the use of a computer and various programs.
Ability to communicate in writing and verbally, meet deadlines, multi-task, and stay organized. Lead and maintain Salina City Maintenance crew.
Performs routine to skilled manual and maintenance work with city streets, vehicles, equipment, water, wastewater, buildings, grounds and parks; and performs related duties as required. Provides supervision over Maintenance/Utility Worker, summer help and part-time worker hired when a particular job requires additional help.
water/sewer certifications preferred/or willing to become certified.
Application Resume and at least three (3) letters of reference are required. Applicant must be at least 18 years of age and live within 30 minutes of Salina City. Starting wage will be based on experience, plus benefits, information, and applications may be obtained at the Salina City Offices at 90 West Main, Salina, Utah 84654.
