Hallows named Distinguished Young Woman of Utah

Paisley Hallows was named the Distinguished Young Woman of Utah 2026 during the State Finals Program held in Salt Lake City on September 27. Paisley will represent Utah at the National Competition in Mobile, Alabama with delegates from all 50 states at the National Finals for two weeks in June of 2026. The program formerly called America’s Junior Miss, awards scholarships to high school senior girls based on scholastics, interview, fitness, talent and self expression. Senior girls from all over the state competed in the competition. 

Paisley won scholastics, interview, fitness, talent and received the community service award as well as the overall title. She was awarded over $7200 in scholarships. 

Paisley is a daughter of Jared and Dani Hallows of Salina and the granddaughter of Teddy and Valerie Hallows and Andrew and Bonny Dahlsrud of Salina. 

Paisley currently serves as Senior class president, FBLA president, Volleyball captain, Cheer captain, is a member of the State Student Council and a student representative on the Utah Founding Forward State Board. She is a member of Rho Khappa, Hope Squad, National Honor Society and maintains a 4.0 gpa. 

She is excited to represent Utah this year as the Distinguished Young Woman.
