Four Generations Strong: White’s Sanitation Takes the Spotlight

The North Sevier Chamber of Commerce has named White’s Sanitation as its October Business of the Month. A family-owned operation since 1983, White’s Sanitation, Inc. has become an essential part of the community, earning a strong reputation for dependable, small-town service and unwavering support for local events and organizations.

WSI began with just one truck and a lot of grit. In those early days, Billy’s wife Kaye drove while Billy rode the back, and Max’s pregnant wife Danielle drove their second truck with baby Chet in a car seat as Max handled the pickups. From those humble beginnings, the company has grown to 18 trucks and 21 employees serving residential and commercial customers throughout Sevier County, Sanpete County, and the surrounding areas.

Billy officially retired in 2004—though the sign above his desk jokingly notes he still works part-time as “a pain in the butt.” Max now spends more time in the office than on the back of a truck, and both Chet and Taylor have moved into office roles as well. Still, all three jump on trucks whenever needed to maintain the quality service the community has come to rely on. And now, on many summer days, a fourth generation of Whites can be spotted on the trucks, proudly carrying on the family legacy.

White’s credits much of its success to its dedicated employees—the everyday faces of WSI who deliver the company’s signature service, whether assisting large commercial accounts, small home remodels, or weekly residential pickups. They treat customers like neighbors because that’s exactly who they are. White’s Sanitation has set the standard for dependable local service—and they like to remind the community to proudly “Support Your Local ‘White’ Trash.”
