Football Team Ends Season

North Sevier football ended their season after a 12-28 loss in Gunnison Friday night.  The Bulldogs held the Wolves scoreless until the end of the first quarter when senior Brody Bulloch scored off a 29 yard pass from Houston Mickelsen, leaving the half time score 6-20 for Gunnison.    Early in the third Davis Malmgren scored again for North Sevier off a 4-yard pass, again from Mickelsen, but Gunnison’s defense held off any more Wolf scoring, while the Bulldogs pushed in one final touchdown in the fourth inning for the victory.

“The kids battled really hard,” said Coach Brady Wheeler. “Defensively we came up with some stops. Offensively we played better and moved the ball pretty well. Our youth just showed, and we made some crucial mistakes that set us back a little. But the kids played hard and battled tough.”

He said they’re excited for next year and will work on the offseason with the players, who show a lot of potential.

“We were really young this season, so we bring back a lot of experience for next year,” said Wheeler. “We will return 6-8 starters on both sides of the ball so it will be exciting to see what we can do bringing back some experience.”
