Excellence in Customer Service

Subway owner Bonnie Robins shared her appreciation for Misty Newbold, who was recently honored as the North Sevier Chamber’s Customer Service Representative of the Month, noting that Misty represents the very best of what customer service should be. Robins said Misty has been part of the Subway family for eight years, including the past three years on her team in Salina, where she has made a meaningful impact not only in the restaurant but throughout the community. Misty’s passion for food began early, dating back to childhood days of making mud pies in the backyard. That interest eventually led her to attend the Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts program in Arizona. She brought that training, along with her creativity and love of cooking, when she moved to Richfield in 2018.

According to Robins, what truly sets Misty apart is not just her skill, but her character. She described Misty as patient, kind, hardworking, and thoughtful, with a natural ability to connect with people. Many regular customers are greeted by name, and often find their orders already started as they walk through the door—a reflection of the genuine care and attention Misty gives to each person she serves.

Outside of work, Misty is a devoted mother to her two children, Cionna and Izayan, and Robins noted that she balances her responsibilities with grace and dedication in all aspects of her life.

Robins expressed pride in Misty for the well-deserved recognition and gratitude for the positive influence she brings to the team and the community, adding that she is not only an outstanding employee and role model, but also a true friend.
