North Sevier cross country traveled to Duchesne Wednesday and the team represented well.
“This was our first time running the course at Starvation Reservoir and the runners enjoyed the scenery and the nice 77-degree weather,” said Coach Char Smith. “This was our coolest temperature race so far this year and that contributed to our runners’ great races. We came home with 3 individuals in the top ten, Keaton hallows, Tate Goble, and Avery Smith.”
In the men’s race Keaton Hallows places third with a time of 17:58, 6th Tate Goble with a time of 18:46, 15th Braxton MacArt 20:07, 19th Greyson Bennett 20:23, 20th Jacob Johnson 20:36, 27th Caden Johnson, 36th Braygen Maxwell, 46th Raiden Johnson, and 51st Warner Roberts. Overall, the boys’ team took home 2nd place behind Millard.
The girls placed 3rd behind North Summit and Millard, and individually Avery Smith placed 8th with a time of 23:10, 11th Ciarra Anderson 23:42, 12th Brooklin Goble 24:13, 15th Karla McCoy, 25:03, 23rd Sydney Bosh 28:01, 27th Judith Prigent Lauret, & 28th Gracey Lambertsen.
“Our teams are moving up in personal and team rankings every week,” said Smith.
Next week they will travel on Wednesday to North Sanpete.
