Drake Xabier Mecham, 24 years of age, born in Richfield, June 30, 1999. Passed
away unexpectedly March 23, 2024 in Aurora, the son of Lacie Mecham and Jason Mecham, loving father of Renliegh Kay Mecham and Kash Dewey Mecham, brother of Dylan, Damian, and Jade Mecham.
Drake loved being in the mountains hunting for sheds, fishing, and camping, he had a passion for the outdoors. He loved spending his free time with his children, playing outside with them, playing games, taking them up north to see Grandma and their uncles or simply watching a movie and eating popcorn with them. He loved being with his siblings hanging out at Redmond Lake or up at Rex’s with a fishing pole in hand, going on mountain rides and exploring the hills above Salina, Aurora, and Redmond. Sitting around fires telling stories of all their fondest memories, over an ice cold beer.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 29, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the Magleby Mortuary Chapel, where friends may call from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Cremation to follow in the Magleby Mortuary Cremation Center. Online guestbook at www.maglebymortuary.com
