Court of Honor

North Sevier Boy Scout Troop 2020 held their Court of Honor Sunday, May 23, 2021 at the North Sevier Recreation Center. This Court of Honor was planned the week after COVID hit. COVID regulations postponed recognition of their awards until now. They have been working hard over the past year in small groups when covid regulations allowed, even working on some merit badges over zoom.  Rion Lewis, Senior Patrol Leader and OA Region Vice Chief of Area Three conducted the awards ceremony and Patrol Leaders, Caden Sutcliff, Aden Hunter, Mason Tuss, Rion Lewis and Pat Robins, announced the awards.

Highest rank advancements during the Court of Honor included the following: Eliot Crane, was awarded the Scout Rank. Advancing to Tenderfoot Rank are Caden Sutcliff, Perrin Sutcliff, and Leo Crane. Receiving First Class is Aden Hunter, LyRic Church, Oskar Jorgensen. Second Class was awarded to Zeek Crane. Advancing to Star is Brandon Vought, Logan Peterson, Mason Tuss, and Rion Lewis. Over 40 merit badges were also awarded.

Hard work and cooperation of dedicated leaders, parents and participants in a time where modifications due to COVID were necessary helped the scouts connect in new ways, develop skills and work ethics in achieving their goals.
