Changes to Miss North Sevier

Isabel Hallows captured the title of the Distinguished Young Women of Utah in its 65th Anniversary Competition. Hallows competed with girls in their Senior year of high school from all across the state in the competition in Salt Lake City. Isabel won the Talent, Interview, Self-Expression and Modeling, and Fitness as well as the Overall title and over $8,500 in cash prizes and additional scholarships to Universities and Colleges all over the country. She will also compete for the title of the Distinguished Young Women of America in June 2022 in Mobile, Alabama and spend two weeks in workshops, and preliminary competitions leading up to the finals.

Distinguished Young Woman, formerly known as America’s Junior Miss, provides more money in scholarships to high school aged young women than any other scholarship organization. Over $37,000 were awarded at the Utah State Competition. The competition is heavily weighted on ACT scores and academic achievement. Categories of competition are scholastics, interview, talent, fitness and self-expression and modeling. Isabel is thrilled to represent Utah this year and at the National Competition. Isabel is the daughter of Jared and Dani Hallows of Salina.

Halee Mason, Miss North Sevier’s first attendant has now been named Miss North Sevier 2021. The reigning Miss North Sevier Isabel Hallows was recently named Distinguished Young Women of Utah.

This is an incredible honor and, as a committee and community, we are very excited for this new adventure for Isabel.

Halee Mason is the daughter of Jonathan and Sandi Mason in Salina. Halee is majoring in Graphic Design at Utah Valley University but plans to put that on hold this summer as she serves an LDS mission. Halee graduated high school as her class Salutatorian, cheer captain, 3-time state champion varsity cheerleader, sterling scholar recipient, honors student, member of the student body officers, received her Nail Technician License, and was the founder and CEO of Bella Boards. She sold Bella Boards this last April so she could move to college and start her lifelong passion of becoming a freelance brand designer and starting other successful businesses. Halee loves sewing with her grandma, shopping with her mom, eating yummy food, traveling to new places, and spending time with her family. You can find Halee boating in the summer, snowboarding in the winter, and doodling on anything and everything when she has time.

Allie Rae Cowley is now the first attendant to Miss North Sevier. Allie is the daughter of Wayne and Cherish Cowley of Richfield.

Allie is currently living in Cedar City attending school at Evans Hairstyling college to get her cosmetology license.

We are excited for our upcoming pageant on March 11, 2022.
