Keri Peterson, owner of Salina Floral, was recognized as the North Sevier Chamber of Commerce Business of the Month at the general meeting held Thursday, May 1, at the Elle. What began as simply “playing around with flowers” has blossomed into much more than she ever imagined. When the shop went up for sale, Keri took a chance — and it felt like the perfect fit. Since then, Salina Floral has become a cherished part of her life and the community. Still a small mom-and-pop shop at heart, it’s filled with love, laughter, and beautiful blooms. Keri credits her amazing employees, supportive family, and loyal customers for making it all possible. She says she’s proud of what Salina Floral has become — not just a flower shop, but a place that brings comfort, joy, and connection to people during life’s most meaningful moments.

Jill Tanner was recognized by the North Sevier Chamber of Commerce as Customer Service Employee of the Month for her outstanding dedication and care. According to Soda Barn owner Anastasia Mickelson, Jill’s warm personality and commitment to going above and beyond have created lasting bonds with customers. “Jill has a large following of loyal customers who feel like she’s family and look forward to seeing her every day,” Mickelson said. “Even through personal trials, she continues to be a bright light in our shop. We are lucky to have her at the Soda Barn.”
