Aurora, Utah — The City of Aurora is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two individuals involved in an act of vandalism at Aurora City Park on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at approximately 11:40 p.m.
Security cameras captured footage of two adult men near the playground area who appeared to be drinking. One individual approached the #4 Frisbee Golf goal and began prying on it, while the second man tripped over a cement wall, remained on the ground briefly, and appeared to turn on his phone’s camera before standing up.
Moments later, the two men pulled the Frisbee Golf goal out of the ground, broke it off at the base, carried it to the nearby canal, and threw it in.
Due to the darkness at the time, the security footage does not clearly identify the suspects. However, the video has been sent to the city’s camera provider for enhancement. Once the footage is clarified, Aurora City officials are confident it will assist law enforcement in making arrests.
Aurora City is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individuals responsible. Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to contact Aurora City Hall/
“Acts of vandalism like this affect the entire community,” said Aurora City officials. “We are committed to holding those responsible accountable and appreciate any assistance residents can provide.”
