Ellen J. Scott, 90 years of age, born in Independence Missouri December 20, 1933. Passed away peacefully in her home in Salina on April 14, 2024. The daughter of Blanch Jarvis and George McLelland Lynch.
Preceded in death by daughter Denise Smith.
Survived in death by sons: Bradley and Jeffery Smith; grandchildren: Dawn Palmer, Harmony and Armando Osario, Brandie and Kris Robinson, Nicole Smith and Tony Silva, Christopher and Corinna Smith. Great-grandchildren: Marcus Palmer, Kylee Kriege, Collin Rasmussen, Michael Palmer and Kanani Manini, Austin Robinson, Kanyon Robinson, Alexis Osario, Andrew Osario, Haley Osario, Aubrey Smith, Hayden Osario, McKenzie Smith, Aspen Smith and Able Smith; great-great-grandchildren: Aniyah Colvin, Kaiden Palmer, Leilani Palmer, Olivia Palmer, Niko Palmer, Nevaeh Palmer and Lilith Palmer.
Ellen loved her animals; especially teaching and playing music, loved people cooking for her, especially Marcus and Michael. She also loved having company over to play games or to chat, etc. She had an uncanny way of winning every time. Her granddaughter, Brandie Robinson, would joke about taking her to Vegas. She adored Kanani. She never wanted her to leave and always asked when she would be back.
She was sweet, funny, clever, witty and always said what was on her mind — whether you liked it or not. Her family will miss her dearly.
