Dorothy was a devoted mother and wife. She was blessed with eight beautiful children whom she loved dearly. Her true calling in life was raising, nurturing, and watching her children grow. This calling continued as her grandchildren were born. Dorothy was a hard worker and had countless jobs throughout her life. She absolutely loved the mountains. Her joys were camping, fishing, and going for 4-wheeler rides with her loving husband and family. Dorothy will be deeply missed by her family, loved ones and everyone who was blessed to have known her.
My Mom-Your arms forever open, your hugs that held me tight; your special goodnight kisses to last throughout the night. A shoulder I could cry on, a softly spoken word, an all-familiar song you’d sing, the sweetest that I’ve heard. To me, you are a flower Mom so delicate and fair. You’ve given fragrance to my life by simply being there.
