SALINA,UTAH-Denise Rose Lindsay, 67, passed away June 18, 2021, after fighting Alzheimer’s disease for more than 10 years.  Denise was born in Kenilworth, Utah to Ray and Rosalie Bertot Christensen on April 9, 1954.  As a child, “Dee Dee” loved playing house among the boulders, trail riding the family’s Honda 90, and exploring the hills of Sunnyside, Utah with her siblings Karen and John. 

On July 4, 1975, she married her high school sweetheart, Bruce Lindsay. Together, they raised two children and welcomed three grandchildren.  She was an encouraging, incredibly supportive, and selfless mother. A loving wife, excellent cook, baker, and skilled seamstress. Passionate about education and children, Denise worked at Salina Elementary as a kindergarten and first grade teacher.  She was a fun-loving, loyal, and thoughtful friend to many. 

She is survived by husband, Bruce of Salina, daughter Krysta (Jim), son Kyle (Sarah), and grandchildren Juniper, Bridger, and Delaney; sister, Karen (Izzy) Plarisan; and brother, John (Cathy) Christensen.

Funeral service, Thursday, June 24, 2021, 1:00 p.m., at Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street) in Price, Utah, where a viewing will be held one hour prior to service. Interment will be at the Cliffview Cemetery located at 1800 East 800 North, Price, Utah.  Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Denise online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net
