Caliber Nielson
Redmond, Utah
Caliber W. Nielson, passed away July 13, 2024. He was born to Lyndie (Blake) James and Thaddeus Nielson (Toi Bone).
Caliber to know you was to love you!!!
Caliber has five siblings: Trishna Nielson, Frank James, AnnaLyne James, Jacie and Devin Hartman, and Josse and Stevn Reeves. He was the uncle to Kimber and Kohen Hartman and Gus and Heidi Reeves. He had many grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that will miss him dearly.
Caliber definitely lived his short life to the fullest. Caliber spent his younger years in Marietta, Oklahoma and attended Marietta public schools. He was a Texas World Series 12U champion in baseball. He was an active member of the Marietta FFA Chapter and Marietta cross country team. His sophomore year of high school he returned to Redmond where he attended North Sevier High, was a member of the football team, made many teachers crazy and could always be found sleeping or eating in his favorite teacher’s classroom. Thanks Mrs. B. Caliber graduated from North Sevier High School, class of 2023.
He loved fishing, bow hunting, having fun, being loud, and going fast. If he wasn’t being loud then he was sleeping. He wasn’t sure what he wanted to do when he grew up, but he worked at Malmgren Trucking, Holly’s Pantry, the turkey plant and most recently at Steady Beat Construction — he loved working there.
He is preceded in death by his grandma, Dorothy; grandpa, Tim Nielson; and Papa Smoke (Merl Lofthouse).
Cremation in the Magleby Mortuary and Cremation Center. Memorial services to be held at a later date. Online guestbook at www.maglebymortuary.com
