1952 – 2024
Redmond, Utah – Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, Brent W. LeFevre, age 72, passed away October 31, 2024, at his home in Redmond.
He was born on September 21, 1952, in Henderson, Nevada, a son of Weldon W. and Venice Alene Madsen LeFevre. He enjoyed playing football, basketball, golf, track and field, riding dirt bikes and fishing with his family at Fish Lake.
Brent lived in Henderson as a child, then moved to Ogden, Utah, where he attended and graduated from the Utah School for the Deaf in 1972. Where he served as President of the Junior National Association of the Deaf and President of the Student Council. He then attended North Seattle Community College in Seattle, Washington, and got his Associate of Arts degree, and a drafting and engineering certificate.
He married the love of his life, Vicki Lynn Everett January 20, 2007, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He lived in Seattle for 2 years while attending college and then moved to Las Vegas, Nevada for 30 years where he worked as a Civil Engineer. After retiring he moved to Kingman Arizona for 12 years. Finally settling down in Redmond, Utah to be closer to his family. Although retired, he still wanted to work while he could. Brent worked at the Richfield Walmart where he met a lot of great friends and enjoyed his time there.
Brent was a passionate collector of pins, stamps, coins, sports memorabilia, and NASCAR items. He loved outdoor activities, woodworking, and spending quality time with his son, daughters and grandkids, including attending their sporting events and activities. For over 29 years, he traveled to NASCAR events, relishing the experiences of travel and sightseeing. He also cherished moments with his tight-knit deaf community, particularly during their annual camping trips, but above all, he loved spending time with his wife, Vicki, and their dogs.
Brent is survived by the love of his life, Vicki LeFevre of Redmond; his children: Scott and Erika Russell of Redmond; Wendy and JP Webb of Syracuse; Toni and Rod Blazvick of Roy; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Terry Balch of Joseph; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Venice Alene and Weldon LeFevre; a sister, Barbara Balch; an uncle, Garth LeFevre and his grandparents.
Celebration of life will be held Friday, November 8, 2024, from 3-7 pm at the home of Brent and Vicki LeFevre in Redmond, Utah. The address is 98 South 100 East, Redmond, Utah 84652
